CATARACT LENS AND MEASUREMENT OPTIONS
Even though there is a high probability, there are no guarantees of expected visual outcomes after cataract surgery using any of the options available.
You may still need eye glasses or contacts to achieve your best vision for near, distance or both.
Cataract surgery is covered by OHIP however there are a few upgraded options to consider.

OPTION #1
This option includes the basic OHIP covered intraocular lens and measurements done by the Compact Touch Ultrasound.

OPTION #2
This option includes our upgraded intraocular lens that closely mimics your own natural lens. Measurements done by our IOL master and Aladdin are more accurate for the best possible outcome for your cataract surgery.

OPTION #3
This option is our upgraded Eyhance Lens. This lens offers improved intermediate vision while having similar distant vision to the upgraded intraocular lens.

Upgraded measurements include the Ultrasound, IOL Master, Aladdin, Corneal Topography and IOL planning for the best surgical outcome.

OPTION #4
​
This option is the Toric Lens and provides astigmatism correction. This lens is only used in patients with significant astigmatism.
